Fund Controller (Real Estate Private Equity)

Fund Controller | Boston, MA (Hybrid / 200K)

We are partnering with a highly established real estate investment management firm seeking a Fund Controller to join its Investor Accounting team in Boston.

This role will oversee fund-level accounting, financial reporting, waterfalls, capital activity, audit/tax coordination, and investor reporting across a portfolio of real estate funds and separate accounts. The position will also manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals while partnering closely with portfolio management, acquisitions, capital markets, investor relations, lenders, auditors, and external tax providers.

Ideal background:

• 10 years of experience across public accounting and real estate investment management/private equity real estate

• CPA required

• Strong US GAAP and fund reporting experience

• Experience with waterfalls, capital allocations, IRR/performance reporting, and complex fund structures

• Prior management experience preferred

• Yardi experience is a plus
