Client Guideline Reporting Analyst We are seeking candidates for a Client Guideline Reporting Analyst opportunity with a premier investment management firm in Boston, MA. This role partners closely with investment teams to monitor and ensure portfolio transactions and holdings adhere to client investment guidelines and regulatory requirements. - Review Investment Management Agreements (IMAs) to interpret, document, and implement client investment guidelines.
- Maintain and update investment restrictions within the firm's guideline monitoring platform, Sentinel.
- Provide real-time pre-trade support to investment professionals, ensuring proposed transactions align with client mandates and investment restrictions.
- Investigate, analyze, and resolve post-trade compliance exceptions generated by the guideline monitoring system.
- Collaborate closely with Investment Operations, Portfolio Management, Product Management, and Global Relationship teams to address guideline-related inquiries and resolve issues.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of investment strategies, client mandates, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of guideline data while identifying opportunities to enhance processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in investment operations, compliance, financial services, or a related field; relevant internship experience will also be considered.
- Foundational knowledge of investment products, including equities, fixed income securities, and derivatives.
- Prior experience with investment guideline monitoring, portfolio compliance, or regulatory requirements is preferred, but not required.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
- Exposure to SQL, Python, AI tools, or other data analysis technologies is a plus, but not required
