Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle exterior washing, including hand washing and using automated car wash systems, ensuring a streak-free finish.
- Execute vehicle paint correction procedures to restore paint clarity and remove surface imperfections using automotive buffing techniques.
- Utilize automotive buffers and cleaning equipment safely and effectively to achieve a high-quality finish on all vehicles.
- Detail vehicle interiors by cleaning carpets, upholstery, dashboards, windows, and other surfaces for a spotless appearance.
- Follow safe work practices consistently while handling heavy lifting tasks and operating manual transmissions or other vehicle systems.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the auto detailing facility, including janitorial duties and custodial tasks to ensure a safe working environment.
- Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure vehicles meet company standards for cleanliness and presentation.
Skills
- Experience operating standard passenger cars with manual transmissions confidently and safely.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle paint correction techniques and automotive buffing tools.
- Proficiency in vehicle interior detailing, including cleaning equipment and methods for various surfaces.
- Familiarity with auto detailing facility operations, car wash procedures, and custodial practices.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients about their vehicle’s needs.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while handling cleaning supplies or vehicle parts.
