Compensation: $55K–$85K (Base Uncapped Bonus Opportunities)

Dalene Flooring Carpet One has been family-owned and operated since 1949 and is the largest independent flooring retailer in Connecticut. What You’ll Do:
- Engage directly with customers to understand their unique vision, lifestyle needs, and how they interact with their space.
- Provide personalized flooring recommendations that elevate design, enhance functionality, and exceed client expectations.
- Master a wide range of floor-covering products, confidently guiding clients through material selection, pricing, and contract negotiation.
- Own the full project lifecycle — from initial concept to final walkthrough — ensuring smooth execution, attention to detail, and outstanding customer satisfaction.
- Keep the showroom clean, organized, and well-stocked with samples and materials
Qualifications of the Retail Sales Associate:
- Professional, dependable, accountable, and punctual
- Previous sales experience.
- Design experience a plus.
- Math, writing, and computer skills.
- Excellent oral and written skills.
- Good time management skills.
- Reliable transportation for limited travel to jobsites.
Schedule: Retail business hours are 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
