Job Summary
DALCO LLC is a commercial automotive insurance office in search of an office assistant for immediate assignment (10-20 hrs). Candidates with a strong interest in acquiring a license to be an agent preferred but we will train the right person for basic office operations for our needs.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support, managing front desk operations, and ensuring the smooth functioning of the office.
This role requires strong computer literacy, excellent phone etiquette, and effective time management skills to handle various tasks efficiently including, but not limited to: document filing, understanding and using the various PC applications, message taking for communications, and document production/processing.
Responsibilities
- Greet visitors and manage front desk operations with professionalism and courtesy.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and in a timely manner.
- Utilize Libre Office for document creation, scheduling, and communication.
- Maintain organized filing systems and assist with office management duties.
- Proofread documents to ensure accuracy and professionalism.
- Handle phone calls, emails, and other correspondence with appropriate etiquette.
- Assist in coordinating meetings and managing calendars for team members.
- Support various administrative tasks as needed to enhance office productivity.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an office assistant or in a similar clerical role preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in word processing applications and general computer literacy is essential.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Attention to detail with strong proofreading abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
