Duties And Responsibilities Of The Position
- Ensurepractices comply with Mohawk and governmentsafetyregulations.
- Create and maintain detailed safety records.
- Assist withsafety audits in facilities to ensure that regulations are being followed, correct any unsanctionedpractices, and identify any gaps in training.
- Assist in investigations of accidents and near-misses.
- Communicate regularly with other safety personnel to ensure that there is consistency throughoutthe company.
- Monitor safety statistics and respond to trends and patterns.
- Perform other duties as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in a related fieldor equivalent education and/or experience.
- 0-2 years of relevant experienceor equivalent education and/or experience.
- Applies conceptual knowledge of the theories, practices, and procedures within a discipline.
- Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.
- Proficient using MicrosoftOfficeSuite products.
