Dal-Tile is currently seeking an intermediate level Material Handler to join our TEAM! As a materialhandlerwe need someone that is experienced in stocking, checking, wrapping, and loading and unloading materials.

Monday - Friday 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM
Primary Objective
Operates various powered industrial trucks to pick customer orders and conveys orders to packingstationor shippingarea.
Major Function and Scope
- Performs a variety of warehouse duties such as pull/assemble customer orders, check outbound orders for accuracy/completeness, inventory stock checks, restock and label vendor product,maintaindisplays (tools, caulk, etc.), move, store, and replenish material, and conduct daily cycle counts.
- Performs receiving duties such asreceiveandunloadinbound material,processinbound shipments, stock material,processcustomerreturnsandnotifymanagement of damaged shipments for freight claims.
- Operates forklift equipment.
- Maintains clean and organizedfacilityby sweeping, trash removal,restroomand general office maintenance,etc.
- Maintains a safe working environment by obeying all safety rules as outlined in the Safety Program and by reporting all accidents, unsafeconditionsand acts to Management.
- Performs other related duties asrequired.
Experience and Knowledge Required
- High School diploma or equivalent experience; CertifiedSit-DownForklift Operator
- 1 or moreyearspreviousdistribution/warehouse experience. Must have a minimum of 6 monthspreviousstand-up forklift or order picker equipment experience. No experiencerequiredfor palletjack.

Good oral and writtencommunicationsskills. Good record keeping skills. Good listening skills. Accurate measurement capability.Ability to understand and speak basic English. Ability to work in a safe and conscientious manner. Must be Dal-Tile certified tooperatepowered industrial trucks.

While performing the duties of this job, the associateis regularly required tostand, use hands, and reach with hands and arms.The associateis required towalk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.The associate maybe requiredto sometimes sit,climbor balance.The associate may lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.Theavernumber of picks per hour is 25 and the average weight is between 40-70lbswith heavier picks (50-70lbs) being 65% of the work shift and lighter weight items (20-40lbs) being 35% of the work shift.Specific vision abilities required by this positionincludesclose vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.The associate is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.The associate may be exposed to a wide range of temperatures.The noise level is usually loud.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
