- Work with Global IT COE colleagues and project sponsors/customers to successfully implement Business Intelligence Analytics applications for the business.
- Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Develop and implement data models for effective reporting and analysis.
- Perform accurate analyses, conduct research, and draw meaningful conclusions about potential job/work-area impacts.
- Draw from prior experience, interpret facts, and identify incomplete data/anomalies to solve problems.
- Use innovative solutions to enhance personal work and, where applicable, the work of the team.
- Participate on project teams on strategic long-range and highly complex projects that span the organization, crossing business unit boundaries. Participation on the project team may take the form of many different roles, including but not limited to requirements gathering, tester, business user application trainer, and application development.
- Integrate data from various sources to create comprehensive and cohesive datasets for analysis.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the availability and accuracy of data.
- Effectively apply functional, process, and procedural or technical knowledge to address business challenges.
- Participate in major applications integration efforts, this includes but not limited to, application testing and user support of purchased package applications.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Required Experience and Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.
- 2-4 years’ relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience.
- Integrate Power BI reports into other applications to provide enhanced business capabilities.
- Build data models and develop dashboards using Power BI Desktop.
- Experience with Microsoft’s BI Stack; SSAS and PowerBI.
- Experience implementing SAP BOBJ and BODS on HANA.
- Experience with EDW development life cycle from business requirement gathering to end solution.
- In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework.
- Experience with creating scalable data pipelines in Databricks and Spark.
- Demonstrates strong knowledge of technical, process, and business principles as well as industry practices and standards.
- Good understanding of how BI/Analytics helps various business functions.
- Ability to work effectively in a diverse work group, to achieve results through team efforts, and the desire and ability to motivate, persuade and direct the activities of others.
- Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.
- Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite products.
