Job Title - Scheduler – Mission Critical Projects
Location: Phoenix | Department: Project Controls | Type: Permanent
Daksta have recently partnered up with a commercial contractor who are looking for a Scheduler to join their Mission Critical Projects team.
About the Role -
As a Scheduler, you’ll be at the core of their project delivery process, working closely with Estimating, Design, and Construction teams. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of quantity, cost, and schedule management from initial estimates through to project completion.
What You'll Be Doing
- Develop and manage Critical Path Method (CPM) schedules to track progress and performance.
- Use historical and forecast data to improve planning and predictability.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to fully understand project scopes and contracts.
- Liaise with clients to ensure satisfaction — and take corrective action where needed.
- Analyze project delays and risks, ensuring accurate documentation and mitigation plans.
- Advise project teams on schedule-related risk and contract compliance.
- Participate in project pursuits, RFP responses, and proposal development.
- Document scheduling assumptions clearly and thoroughly.
- Lead or support monthly schedule audits.
- Train Project Managers and Superintendents in scheduling tools and best practices.
- Help foster a positive, inclusive team culture.
