Construction Vice President of Operations:
Daksta is currently exclusively partnered with a leading top 200 ENR ranked commercial GC, headquartered in Maryland, with revenues at $750M.
They're seeking a vice president to work out of their Maryland office, and oversee construction operations locally in the region.
The Company:
A Maryland based commercial general contractor, working in a huge range of markets including commercial, government, education, life science, mission critical, residential and more - working on projects up to $1B.
The company is very cash rich, with a strong bonding capacity and ability to work on huge scale projects in the area. They operate with a family-feel integrity, not being a firm that's too big so you get lost in the corporate machine, but large enough where they have strong stability and can go head to head with the top ENR national GCs.
This role will entail overseeing large-scale construction operations out of their Maryland office, being responsible for projects up to $1B, whilst reporting directly into the President.
This has the possibility of growth into a COO role moving forward.
General Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership of projects in the Maryland area.
- Have strong experience in the data center space, and the ability to work closely with the BD team to help build out their mission critical division.
- Develop and maintain operational policies and procedures to drive construction efficiency.
- Drive year-on-year division growth.
- Interface closely with clients to help bring on new business.
- Be a key decision maker in hiring of executives.
- Collaborate closely with other business units in joint-venture projects.
Requirements:
- 10 years of commercial general contracting experience, with 3 years spent as a VP.
- Proven track record of leading $100M projects.
- Experience working with Top 100 ENR GCs.
- Showing length of service, with minimal job moves.

- Base salary of $200k , with a target bonus of $200k depending on performance.
