This is a full-time, on-site role for a Direct Support Professional based in Sioux Falls, SD. The Direct Support Professional will assist individuals with disabilities by providing support for daily living activities, personal care, community engagement, and skill development. Responsibilities include fostering a safe and supportive environment, promoting independence, and engaging in training and team collaboration to best serve individuals' needs.
- Experience or education in Human Services or a related field.
- Strong Interpersonal and Communication skills to build positive relationships and effectively support individuals.
- Knowledge or understanding of working with individuals with Intellectual Disabilities.
- Ability to provide Training or guidance to support skill development and promote independence.
- Patience, empathy, and a commitment to fostering an inclusive and empowering environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or experience in a similar role is a plus.
- Reliable transportation and ability to pass background checks and required training.
