Duties
- Manage inventory control using warehouse management systems and RF scanners to ensure accurate stock levels.
- Operate equipment such as yard trucks, forklifts, and wheel loaders safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload shipments, ensuring proper handling of products during transportation.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution, inventory management, or related fields.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and heavy equipment operation including forklifts, pallet jacks, and wheel loaders.
- Mechanical knowledge related to materials handling, and equipment maintenance is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks regularly.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards applicable to warehouse environments.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory control and order accuracy.
- Construction or manufacturing background can be advantageous.
