Job Description:
Dakota Steel and Trim, Inc. is a regional roll forming manufacturer located in Canton, South Dakota and Freeport, Minnesota. Family-owned since 1992, Dakota Steel and Trim was the first privately incorporated Roll Former in South Dakota. We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team. The regular working hours for this position are 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities Include:
- Communicate with customer via phone and email
- Provide quotes and manage pricing to meet company goals
- Work with internal departments to meet customers' needs
- Data entry
- Provide product knowledge and training to customers as needed
- Receive, process, and verify accuracy of customers' orders
Job Requirements:
- Previous sales and customer service experience in the building materials industry
- Experience in metal roofing products is desirable, but not necessary
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to operate general office equipment, including telephone, computer, calculator, and photocopier
- Have working knowledge of Microsoft products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
- Strong computer skills are required
