Dakota Property Services is looking for an experienced Lead Fence Installer to join our growing team in Fargo.
We’re looking for someone who knows fencing, can lead a crew, and takes pride in getting the job done right. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who can help keep projects organized, productive, and moving from start to finish.
What You'll Do
- Lead and work alongside a fence installation crew
- Install vinyl, wood, chain-link, and other fencing systems
- Read layouts, measure accurately, set posts, and complete installations
- Help organize job sites, materials, tools, and daily workflow
- Operate company trucks, trailers, tools, and equipment
- Communicate with the DPS team to keep projects on schedule
- Maintain the quality and workmanship our customers expect
What We're Looking For
- Fence installation experience
- Previous crew lead or leadership experience
- Valid driver's license with a reasonably clean driving record
- Comfortable driving a company truck and trailer
- Ability to perform physical outdoor work and lift 50 lbs.
- Dependable, hardworking, and able to communicate well with a team
- Someone who takes ownership of their work and pays attention to the details
Compensation & Schedule
- Starting at $25 /hour, based on experience
- Full-time position
- Opportunities for overtime during busy periods
- Bonus opportunities may be available
More Than a Seasonal Position
We're looking for someone who wants to become a long-term part of the DPS team. As the fencing season slows, we work to keep our team busy through commercial snow removal and other Dakota Property Services projects throughout the winter.
