Duties
- Assist with landscape installation projects including planting, tree care, and hardscape construction
- Maintain lawns through mowing, edging, fertilizing, and weed control using hand tools and power equipment
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as pruning, trimming trees and shrubs, and irrigation system checks
- Operate equipment like excavators, power tools, and snow plows safely and efficiently
- Support seasonal tasks such as snow plowing and gardening to ensure year-round landscape beauty
- Conduct routine site inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure safety standards are met
- Help with the setup and breakdown of construction sites, including material handling and site cleanup
Qualifications
- Prior experience or knowledge of landscaping, lawn care, or horticulture is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with hand tools, power tools, excavators, and other landscaping equipment is a plus
- Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions with stamina and attention to safety
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- Basic understanding of irrigation systems, tree care techniques, gardening practices, and hardscape installation is advantageous
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions and safety protocols
- Valid driver’s license is preferred for operating equipment or assisting with project logistics
