Dakota Granite is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager/Coordinator will support project planning, scheduling, production needs, and execution within our Mausoleum Department while also contributing to our other company projects as needed. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage multiple tasks, coordinate with internal and external teams, and ensure projects are being completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities
- Follow and help uphold Mausoleum written processes, including Sales-to-Operations checklists, production processes, CNC/Programming workflow coordination (non-technical), and drawing workflow
- Assist with scheduling and coordinating material supply to meet finished goods demand
- Learn and support ERP functions, processes, and continuous improvement efforts
- Track and maintain project and job costs within ERP for labor, materials, and overhead
- Evaluate production timelines to help guide scheduling decisions and provide regular project updates
- Support job creation and setup of operations and materials within ERP
- Help improve quality-related processes and procedures
- Prepares and uses data to make sound decisions
- Monitor Mausoleum project progress, identify potential issues, and help implement timely resolutions to keep projects on track
- Procure materials needed for Mausoleum projects alongside the Purchasing Department
- Prepare high-level estimates for installs
- Coordinate and facilitate install activities through internal resource planning and third-party services that are needed
- Compare and report estimates versus actuals and assist with lessons learned
- Provide project coordination and support for other company projects as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in project management, project coordination, scheduling, or logistics (preferably in manufacturing, construction, or a related industry)
- Ability to read and interpret project specifications, plans, and documentation is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
Proficiency in project management software and tools (Microsoft Office, Google Suite)
Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
