Duties
As a Baker, your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing a variety of baked goods, including breads, pastries, cakes, and cookies.
- Ensuring all products meet quality standards for taste and presentation.
- Following recipes accurately while also being able to adjust ingredients as needed for special requests or dietary restrictions.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the baking area in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Assisting with catering orders and special events as required.
- Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient food production and timely service.
- Providing excellent customer service by engaging with customers and taking special orders when necessary.
Experience
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
- Previous experience in a bakery or culinary environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations within the food industry.
- Skills in food preparation techniques, including proficiency with knives and baking equipment.
- Experience in catering is a plus but not mandatory.
