Women’s Basketball Assistant Coach
STATUS: i.e. Part-time, non-benefitted
JOB DESCRIPTION: Assisting the Head Coach with recruiting quality student-athletes, teaching and training students the skills and strategies related to competition, scouting and preparing reports, game day planning, team workouts, organizational planning, player/personnel management, assisting with fundraising events, mentoring and monitoring student-athlete to ensure academic performance and other duties relative to the women’s basketball program
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: BA or BS degree, playing experience at the college level. The ability to represent DCB in a professional manner, a valid driver’s license and good interpersonal skills
QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED: BA or BS degree, coaching experience at the high school/college level. Good verbal and written communication skills.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: The assistant coach shall represent Dakota College at Bottineau in a professional manner, while enforcing the college, NJCAA, and Mon-Dak guidelines governing the sport.
SALARY: $1500-2500 (1 semester), possible housing which is taxable.
CLOSING DATE: Until a qualified candidate is hired.
