Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch is hiring a Marketing and Content Specialist to create and implement advertising, social media, and promotions to increase traffic to its physical and e-commerce thrift stores.
Responsibilities include:
- Identifying target audiences.
- Creating and posting relevant and regular content on social media (primarily Meta and TikTok).
- Collaborating with retail management and store staff to schedule events, create in-store signage that meets branding guidelines, promote sales, and write website content.
- Working with VP Communications to create and place paid advertising.
- Using public messaging and in-store signage to link the work of the retail stores to the mission of the Ranch.
As a member of the Communications and Retail teams, you will make a difference in the lives of the children and families served by Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Basic graphic design skills.
- Short-form video shooting and editing.
- Minimum of two (2) years of marketing and communications experience, and demonstrated success in planning and implementing marketing campaigns to create top-of-mind awareness.
Qualifications: Must be 21 years of age, have an insurable driving record, and pass a background check.
Work Schedule and Travel: This position is typically scheduled to work 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, with flexibility to account for special events and travel. The position will be located in Fargo, but some travel may be required.
