We are currently seeking a full-time Housekeeper/Facilities Support Services employee to join our team!
Wage: $18/hour
Shift: This position will work Monday- Friday hours; typically 8 to 5 pm
What you will do: Under general supervision, a Facilities Services Support is primarily responsible for housekeeping, custodial, and laundry in campus buildings at locations as assigned.
Purpose
You keep residents and staff safe and healthy by providing basic human needs and first impressions.
- Attend to the day-to-day care of the environment for youth, direct care, and administrative staff
- Cleans facilities including entryways, offices, kitchens, bathrooms, and/or floors
- Cleans assigned building(s) daily and maintains general upkeep of these areas
- Sweeps, dusts, mops, scrubs, washes, vacuums, waxes, and polishes building floors, walls, woodwork, windows, furniture, equipment, and hardware
- Cleans and sanitizes lavatories, washrooms, and bedrooms, keeps washrooms supplied with paper, towels, and soap
- Collects and disposes of trash and garbage; moves equipment and furniture such as bed, tables, and chairs
- Support the improvement of the organization
- Support other members of the team in carrying out organizational goals and activities
- Display respect for all voices, all cultures, and all perspectives

- Keep supervisors and staff informed of any concerns or observations regarding buildings
- Ensures hazardous materials are stored in compliance with safety procedures
- Ensures worksites are clean and maintained during, and at the completion of work projects.
- Performs sanitary inspections in designated areas for purposes of infection control
- May be asked to perform a variety of semi-skilled work including grounds keeping, food services, and general maintenance in agency buildings and grounds to support the Facility Team.

- Observe and report safety violations; actively participate in emergency situations
Minimum qualifications/education:
- Must be 21 or older at the time of application. High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must pass a background check, including criminal & abuse
- Must have a drivers license and have an insurable driving record
Physical Demands
- Ability to perform manual work requiring physical exertion; Position requires frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds at a time. Must be able to constantly stand/walk, and frequently required to sit, climb, stoop, kneel or crouch, bend, scoop, reach above shoulders, and reach at and below shoulders. Will be subject to frequent outside and inside environmental conditions. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
