Position Overview:
This Data Analyst role supports Dakota Bodies and CM Truck Beds within Truck Equipment. The position partners with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance to drive data-driven decisions, improve forecasting, and enhance business performance. This role is critical to supporting the SIOP process and scaling analytics capabilities.

Position Overview:
This Data Analyst role supports Dakota Bodies and CM Truck Beds within Truck Equipment. The position partners with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance to drive data-driven decisions, improve forecasting, and enhance business performance. This role is critical to supporting the SIOP process and scaling analytics capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports
- Analyze sales, inventory, production, and forecast data
- Support SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning)
- Develop data models from ERP and business systems
- Identify trends, risks, and cost-saving opportunities
- Automate reporting and reduce manual processes
- Ensure data accuracy through QA and validation
- Present insights to business stakeholders
- Power BI fundamentals (DAX, modeling, visualization)
- SQL curiosity / eager to explore and develop
- Advanced Excel skills (Lookups, Pivots, Power Query)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and attention to detail
- Microsoft 365 Suite Experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Manufacturing or distribution experience
- SIOP / supply chain analytics exposure
- Forecasting or demand planning experience
- Python or R (nice to have)
- Cross-functional collaboration experience
- 1–3 years in an analytical role
- Bachelor’s Degree in Analytics, Finance, Economics, or related field
