Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Rapid City, SD, for a Concrete Finisher. The Concrete Finisher will be responsible for preparing construction sites, setting and aligning concrete forms, pouring, leveling, and finishing concrete surfaces. Key responsibilities include using power tools and heavy equipment to shape, smooth, and finish concrete, as well as assisting with formwork and flatwork tasks. Coordination with team members to ensure high-quality work and adherence to project specifications is essential.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in the use of power tools for construction and finishing tasks
- Experience in formwork and flatwork, with hands-on skills in concrete pouring and finishing
- Basic carpentry skills with the ability to construct and align forms
- Familiarity with operating and maintaining heavy equipment used in paving projects
- Physical ability to perform demanding tasks in outdoor environments
- Strong attention to detail to ensure quality workmanship
- Prior experience in the construction or paving industry is a plus
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
