We are seeking a dedicated Busser to support the front-of-house team by maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming dining environment. This role is essential to the flow of service, ensuring tables are promptly reset, dining areas remain immaculate, and guests receive attentive, seamless hospitality throughout their visit.

Position: Busser
We are seeking a dedicated Busser to support the front-of-house team by maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming dining environment. This role is essential to the flow of service, ensuring tables are promptly reset, dining areas remain immaculate, and guests receive attentive, seamless hospitality throughout their visit.
Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
- Clear, clean, and reset dining tables quickly and efficiently according to restaurant standards.
- Assist servers with water service, bread service, food delivery, and guest requests as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room, service stations, restrooms, and common areas.
- Refill water glasses and assist with guest comfort throughout service.
- Stock service stations with glassware, silverware, linens, and other necessary supplies.
- Polish glassware, flatware, and service items as assigned.
- Support opening, closing, and side-work duties.
- Assist with maintaining a safe, sanitary, and organized work environment.
- Work collaboratively with both front- and back-of-house teams to ensure smooth service operations.
- Uphold Dakar NOLA's standards of hospitality, professionalism, and guest care.
- Performs any and all other duties as assigned by the General Manager and/or Leadership
- Minimum 2 years of restaurant experience; Banquet service required.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for fine dining hospitality
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Five-day shift (2:30pm - Close)
- Black close-toed nonslip shoes and professional pants
- Hair must be pulled and pinned back
- Reliable and supportive; attendance and punctuality is high priority
- Keeps a positive attitude in high stress situations with strong problem-solving skills
- Works expeditiously while maintaining quality; adaptable to varying deadline-driven needs
- Maintains high expectations for self; a continual learner that is always seeking growth
