We are seeking a friendly and efficient Host/Food Runner to join our dynamic restaurant team. Responsibilities
- Deliver hot and cold food orders promptly from the kitchen to guests’ tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are maintained
- Assist servers with clearing plates and resetting tables as needed
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate order timing and address any special requests or issues
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations and dining areas
- Provide exceptional guest service by being attentive, courteous, and responsive to guest needs
- Support other team members during busy periods to ensure smooth restaurant operations
- Uphold safety and sanitation standards in all aspects of food delivery and service
Skills
- Previous host/food running experience or background in food service preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team
- Experience in hospitality, restaurant serving, or hotel guest services is beneficial
- Knowledge of phone etiquette and guest relations to enhance overall guest experience
