Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Barback to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will support bartenders in delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring the bar area is well-stocked, organized, and clean. This role is essential in creating a seamless experience for our guests and enhancing the overall efficiency of the bar operations.
Duties
- Assist bartenders with preparing drinks and serving customers promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Stock and replenish supplies such as liquor, mixers, garnishes, and ice as needed.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and assist with cash handling duties.
- Support food service operations by assisting with bussing tables and catering needs when required.
- Ensure compliance with food handling and safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and responding to their needs.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or bartending is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift items as needed.
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
