Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Laborer to join our moving and storage team. This role involves supporting various production and warehouse activities within a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
- Assist with moving and storage operations, ensuring smooth workflow and quality standards are met
- Ability to work inside and outside, we operate year round.
- Operate moving trucks and other moving and storage equipment safely to move customers items and products throughout the moving process.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and mechanical knowledge to assemble, disassemble, or repair items and equipment as needed
- Support general factory tasks such as loading/unloading furniture and boxes, packaging, and inventory management.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to safety protocols
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals efficiently
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment
Experience
- Prior experience in moving settings is preferred but note required
- Experience involving material handling of items up to or greater than 100 pounds repeatedly is a plus
- Familiarity with moving processes and the use of hand tools and power tools is advantageous
- Mechanical knowledge or experience working with machinery will be beneficial
- Experience operating forklifts, box trucks, or similar equipment is desirable but not mandatory; training may be provided for qualified candidates
