Day shift lead

Dairy Treat Nashua is looking for dependable, motivated adults to join our team as Restaurant Shift Leads. We’re a locally owned, community-focused restaurant and ice cream shop looking for people who take pride in their work, show up when scheduled, and maintain high standards for cleanliness, personal hygiene, and food safety.

As a Shift Lead, you’ll help keep daily operations running smoothly. Responsibilities include preparing food and ice cream orders, serving customers, handling transactions, cleaning and sanitizing work areas, restocking, and helping guide younger team members.

Cleanliness & Hygiene Are Extremely Important

Because we prepare and serve food to our community, good personal hygiene and a clean work environment are non-negotiable parts of this position.

Team members are expected to:

• Arrive for every shift clean, well-groomed, and ready to work
• Practice proper and frequent handwashing
• Follow all food-handling and food-safety procedures
• Keep clothing and uniforms clean and presentable
• Keep food-preparation areas, equipment, counters and floors clean
• Clean as you work instead of waiting until the end of the shift
• Properly use gloves and other required food-safety practices
• Help hold the entire team to our cleanliness and sanitation standards

What We’re Looking For

We want someone who is reliable, mature and takes initiative. You should be comfortable working independently, staying productive without constant supervision, and helping younger employees learn good work habits.

Previous restaurant or leadership experience is a plus, but we’re especially interested in people who are dependable, hardworking, clean, organized and willing to learn.

Daytime, evening and weekend opportunities may be available.

Pay: $11.00 - $14.00 per hour
