- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and presentation
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling, making change, and balancing cash drawers at shift end
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols
- Assist with food handling, packaging, and serving orders promptly in a quick service or fast-food restaurant setting
- Proven experience in food preparation, food service, or retail environments with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing
- Strong cash handling skills combined with basic math proficiency for accurate transactions and register balancing
- Excellent customer service abilities with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters positive interactions
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking between serving customers and preparing orders
