Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and presentation meet company guidelines
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for retail sales transactions, including cash handling and processing payments accurately
• Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards across the dining area, kitchen, and food prep stations in compliance with food safety regulations
• Assist with bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and restocking supplies to ensure a smooth flow of operations during busy hours
• Manage time effectively to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure
• Support team members with food handling, serving duties, and basic kitchen tasks to ensure quick service delivery

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation, quick service & fast food restaurant environments, or retail sales transactions involving food industry products
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; ability to handle cash handling accurately and efficiently
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items and create a welcoming atmosphere for guests
• Knowledge of food safety management practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
• Basic math skills for retail math calculations, cash handling, and inventory management
• Previous experience in cashiering, bussing tables, or café/restaurant roles is highly desirable
