What are the responsibilities and job description for the Morning Grill Person position at Dairy Queen?
Candidates able to work from 9a-4pm will start at the highest rate of pay. These candidates are generally 18 years of age or older.
Candidates under the age of 18 will be impacted by state restrictions on when you can work. *
*14- and 15-year-old candidates are limited to 18 hours per week, not allowed to work past 7pm Monday-Thursday and Sundays and not past 9pm on Friday and Saturday.
*16- and 17-year-old candidates are limited to 24 hours per week, not allowed to work past 1030pm Monday-Thursday and Sundays and not past 1130pm on Friday and Saturday.
We are looking for any of the following positions:
*Cashier-responsible for dealing with counter and drive thru customers directly. This individual will be comfortable speaking with strangers, good communication skills and have a welcoming personality and demeanor.
*Chill-responsible for creating all the beloved Dairy Queen Ice Cream treats.
*Grill-responsible for creating all our hot meals both broiled and fried.
The best candidates work best in group settings, understand the need to put the needs of the customer first, works well with other co-workers and likes to stay busy with customers first and cleaning, stocking, sweeping and moping when customers are not present.
