Reports To: Director of Operations or Owner's Appointee

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated, dependable Maintenance Technician to support a group of Dairy Queen franchise locations throughout Southeast Ohio and West Virginia. This position is ideal for someone who is self-motivated, organized, mechanically inclined, and eager to learn.

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining restaurant facilities and equipment to ensure our stores provide a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our guests ("Fans") and our crews. This role requires the ability to prioritize work, manage a flexible schedule, and respond to emergency maintenance situations when necessary.

The schedule is primarily daytime Monday through Friday; however, evenings, weekends, and after-hours work may occasionally be required for emergencies or when maintenance must be completed outside of business hours. The position may also include maintenance tasks at other company-owned properties unrelated to Dairy Queen operations.

  • Complete repairs efficiently while minimizing disruption to restaurant operations.
  • Recommend improvements that increase equipment reliability and operational efficiency.

  • Be approachable and willing to help.
  • Teach crew members proper equipment care when appropriate.
  • Encourage safe operation of equipment.
