What are the responsibilities and job description for the Grill Cook position at Dairy Queen?
As a member of our Grill Crew Team you will have the opportunity to satisfy our Fans cravings for our hot, delicious food offerings. You'll be taught how to make our burgers, sandwiches and our famous Chicken Strip Baskets. Potential candidates must be committed to creating DQ Fans by serving them with hospitality during high volume periods and ensuring a great experience. Our goal is creating happy moments in our Fans day and that starts with you serving them mouth-watering burgers and Chicken Strip Baskets.

Team Member Responsibilities Include
- Safely prepare, cook and present food quickly and efficiently.
- Assist in keeping the kitchen clean at all times
- Work safely around all kitchen equipment
- Know and perform well at your assigned jobs
- Showing up on time, maintaining a great attitude and staying focused during your shift
- Being a willing team player and maintain a cooperative, harmonious working relationship with management and fellow team members
- Assisting in keeping the restaurant and bathrooms clean at all times
- Being responsible to fill your shift if you're unable to work.
Requirements:
- MUST be 16yrs or older to apply
- Communicate positively with fans and co-workers constantly during shifts
- Work well under pressure packed situations while maintaining a great attitude
- Travel quickly in customer service area as much as three times for each customer up to as many as 40 customers per hour of shift. Must be able to work in and out of different temperature ranges. Handling food/drinks/treats and food/drink/treat products constantly. Capability to stand for long periods of time.
