Position Summary:
Crew Members are the heart of Dairy Queen operations. They are responsible for providing outstanding customer service, preparing and serving quality food and treats, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring that every guest leaves happy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, take accurate orders, and ensure a pleasant dining experience.
- Food Preparation: Prepare and assemble DQ menu items according to established recipes, portion standards, and safety procedures.
- Treat Creation: Make and serve DQ Blizzards, cones, sundaes, shakes, and other treats with precision and care.
- Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, dining areas, and equipment.
- Teamwork: Work efficiently with fellow team members to ensure smooth operations during rush hours.
- Cash Handling: Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately, process payments, and issue receipts.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures.
- Other Duties: Assist with restocking supplies, taking out trash, and supporting shift supervisors as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is a plus, but not required — we provide full training!
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Friendly, energetic, and positive attitude.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable and punctual with strong attention to detail.
- Must comply with all local health and safety regulations.
