Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing ingredients and assembling menu items according to established recipes and standards
• Support food preparation activities, including chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients with precision and knife skills
• Follow food safety protocols diligently to maintain cleanliness, proper storage, and handling of all food items
• Contribute to meal planning efforts by organizing ingredients and ensuring timely readiness for service
• Help with food service operations by plating dishes, serving guests, or assisting in catering events as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including equipment sanitation and waste disposal
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and uphold high-quality standards throughout the shift

Requirements

• Prior experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is highly preferred
• Hands-on experience with menu planning, food preparation, cooking, or food handling in a restaurant or food industry setting
• Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for maintaining hygiene standards
• Experience in catering or large-scale food service environments is a plus
• Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate clearly and work efficiently under pressure
• A genuine passion for culinary arts and serving others
