Day Shift Cook

Looking for day shift.

As a Crew Member, you will be the face of our Dairy Queen, ensuring that every customer receives outstanding service in a clean and inviting environment. This position involves preparing food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness in the dining area and kitchen, and providing the friendly, upbeat customer service that our guests expect from a brand they trust.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service: Greet customers with a smile, take orders accurately, and ensure a positive dining experience. Address customer concerns or questions with professionalism and courtesy.
• Food Preparation: Follow food safety standards and prepare menu items in accordance with Dairy Queen’s specifications, ensuring high quality and consistency.
• Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including dining areas, kitchen, and restroom. Take pride in keeping the environment neat and organized to ensure a great experience for customers and team members alike.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with fellow crew members to ensure smooth operations and timely service. Assist in training new employees and share best practices.
• Cash Handling: Accurately process cash and credit transactions, following all cash handling policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Strong commitment to excellent customer service and cleanliness
• Positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Team player who works well with others
• No extreme tattoos or piercing
• Must be willing to learn, grow, and uphold our family values
• Previous experience in food service or customer-facing roles is a plus, but not required
• Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 40pounds, and work flexible hours (weekends, evenings, and holidays may be required)
