Duties
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately.
- Prepare food items according to restaurant standards while ensuring proper sanitation practices.
- Operate the POS system for processing transactions and managing orders.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, dining areas, and equipment.
- Assist in inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.
- Provide recommendations on menu items to enhance the customer experience.
- Manage time effectively to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and sanitation practices is a plus.
- Strong math skills for handling cash transactions and basic retail math.
- Experience using POS systems is advantageous.
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy shifts effectively.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
