Market Performance

• Work with the Manager of DHI Records Service to establish an annual budget and regularly monitor market financial performance.
• Establish operational goals (service and financial) related to market performance.
• Monitor performance towards established goals and develop action plans for underachieving goals.
• Develop and implement strategies to meet market and organizational goals.

Market Development

• Identifying opportunities for market growth including signing up new herds and increasing the number of Dairy One services being utilized.
• Establishing market growth goals and working with market staff to meet these goals.
• Participating and supporting promotional programs.

Staffing

• Hire, ensure proper training and monitor performance of market staff.
• Conduct annual performance evaluations for market staff.
• Maintain consistent communication with market staff regarding their performance in the market and general organizational information.
• Work with market staff to maintain Dairy One customer service expectations including selling and promoting additional Dairy One services.
• Monitor and enforce technician adherence to Dairy One policies and safety recommendations.
• Implement team building initiatives to support and enhance employee engagement.

DHIA Testing

• Manage market testing relief needs up to and including performing relief DHIA testing when necessary.
