- Lead daily production activities to ensure safety, quality, and productivity goals are achieved.
- Monitor production equipment, coordinate repairs, and ensure proper sanitation standards are maintained.
- Champion food safety, quality, GMP, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Oversee production scheduling, staffing, and material readiness to meet customer demand.
- Coach, train, and develop team members while fostering employee engagement and accountability.
- Manage employee performance, timekeeping, corrective actions, and labor relations matters as needed.
- Investigate and report workplace incidents and support ongoing safety initiatives and training.
- High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Dairy Science, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 3 years of food manufacturing experience and at least 1 year of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams while driving a culture of safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
