This position includes an array of functions including maintaining, breaking down and setting up equipment and machinery, while troubleshooting and resolving basic to moderate operating issues.
Responsibilities Include, But Not Limited To
- Set up product pumps and lines
- Adhere to all SOP’s for cleaning all pumps and equipment
- Checking fill weights and container coding
- Completing order requirements
- Take samples for Quality Control laboratory
- CIP and hand clean all related equipment
- Accurately complete all associated records
- Communicate effectively with all personnel
- Comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
- Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s)
- Comply with SQF and Company Guidelines to produce a safe and quality product
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Work environment is hot/cold/wet
- Work environment is indoors
- Work environment has consistent loud noise
- Work environment contains stairs and elevated surfaces
Skills Required
- Ability to communicate openly, clearly and effectively orally and in writing
- Ability to read, write, and understand English documentation
- Ability to support team environment
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to lift, carry, and push up to 50 pounds frequently
- Ability to stand, walk, kneel, and bend for virtually entire shift
- Ability to climb and maintain balance
- Ability to use hands extensively
- Ability to operate forklift with certification
- High School Degree, or equivalent - Required
- Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measurement, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimal
- Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks
- Must be able to push, pull, stand, walk, climb, crouch and lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to be able to work in a wet environment
- May have some exposure to dust, fumes and cleaning chemicals
- Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime as required, occasional weekends and holidays
