Cashier/Customer Service Representative

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front of House Team Member to join our Dairy Burger team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized front-of-house environment. Duties

• Greet customers warmly as they enter Dairy Burger.
• Take customer orders accurately using the POS system.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets our standards.
• Handle cash and credit transactions efficiently, maintaining accuracy in the POS system.
• Assist with food handling and preparation as needed, following all health and safety regulations.
• Buss tables and maintain cleanliness throughout the dining area.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction.
• Address customer inquiries or concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
• Maintain an organized workspace, including restocking supplies as necessary.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Basic culinary knowledge is beneficial but not required.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
• Food handling certification is preferred but can be obtained after hiring.
