RN Unit Manager

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Unit Manager. In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of the nursing unit, manage staff, and ensure high-quality patient care. You will collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to provide optimal care and meet regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily nursing operations and staff
• Develop and implement care plans with interdisciplinary teams
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care as needed
• Ensure compliance with regulations and facility policies
• Address patient and family concerns promptly
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and performance evaluations

Required Skills:

• Strong leadership and communication skills
• In-depth clinical knowledge and ability to problem-solve
• Organizational and time management skills
• Attention to detail and familiarity with regulatory standards

Qualifications:

• Current RN License
• BLS Certification
• Valid Driver’s License
• Previous nursing management experience preferred

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift

Ability to Commute:

• Pembroke, NC 28372 (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Pembroke, NC 28372: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)
