AM Shipping/Receiving Crew

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Palletize and organize loads for shipment using correct stacking order using proprietary CAT² computerized inventory system to scan cases to pallets and to finalize orders.
2. Ensure accuracy of each pallet and entire incoming and outgoing loads.
3. Must already have advanced forklift and electric pallet jack skills.
4. Must be honest and ethical at all times to avoid unnecessary losses.
5. Accurate inventory skills essential.
6. Will assist in weekly, monthly, and year-end inventories.
7. Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills are critical at all times.
8. Know proper and common procedures for loading trucks. Ensure trucks are loaded in correct order for LTL transit, first stop loaded last, etc.
9. Very strong math skills required for various tasks.
10. Ability to read, write and speak English is vital to allow communication with drivers, customers and shipping companies.
11. Must be able and willing to work varying hours and overtime due to operational requirements.
12. Must demonstrate strong communication skills and ability to perform in a stressful environment.
13. Keep warehouse area clean and well organized.
14. Must be able to effectively operate handheld computer device.
15. Must be able to work in refrigerated environment that is approximately 40 degrees Fahrenheit.
16. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

1. Must be computer literate and able to learn new computer programs quickly.
2. Ability to conduct inventories correctly.
3. Knowledge of warehouse operations and loading/unloading of trucks.
4. Excellent math skills.
5. Able to read, write and speak English.
6. Superior forklift and electric pallet jack skills.
7. Pass physical and be able to continuously lift 50 lbs.
8. Must be able to work in cold temperatures for extended periods of time.
