Overview
Daily Revive Behavioral Health Clinic is seeking an Experienced Behavioral Health Patient Recruiter to conduct community outreach and connect individuals with outpatient mental health services. This role involves traveling to various community locations, healthcare facilities, and partner organizations to build referral relationships, educate individuals about available services, and assist with patient enrollment. The recruiter will work closely with our clinical team to help expand access to care while maintaining compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
Responsibilities
- Conduct community outreach and patient recruitment to connect individuals with behavioral health services, including mental health and medication management programs.
- Travel to community locations, healthcare facilities, shelters, social service organizations, and partner sites to promote services and identify potential patients in need of behavioral health support.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, case managers, hospitals, primary care offices, and referral sources.
- Educate potential patients, families, and referral partners about available outpatient behavioral health services and treatment programs.
- Perform initial patient screenings to determine eligibility for services and assist with the intake and enrollment process.
- Coordinate with clinical and administrative teams to schedule patient intakes, assessments, and follow-up appointments.
- Maintain accurate records of outreach activities, referrals, and patient engagement while ensuring compliance with patient privacy regulations such as Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
- Represent the organization at community events, health fairs, and outreach initiatives to increase awareness of behavioral health services.
- Track recruitment metrics and maintain outreach reports to support patient growth and program expansion.
- Follow up with prospective patients and referral partners to ensure successful connection to care.
Skills
- Strong understanding of behavioral health practices, including art therapy techniques and psychopharmacology principles
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and empathetically with diverse populations
- Ability to manage multiple outreach efforts efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
