What are the responsibilities and job description for the Barista / Cashier / Food prep / Serve ice cream position at Daily Grind Coffee?
We are looking for people to primarily work in our cafe and our ice cream shop. Weekends are a priority, but candidates should have relatively open availability. We are looking for people that are friendly, courteous, hardworking, customer-orientated and have the right attitude to help our business grow. The job duties include serving ice cream, making drinks, preparing sandwiches, ringing up customers, and helping with housekeeping duties. We also have mobile coffee trailers that are full blown cafes on wheels that we operate at numerous events including farmer's markets, pumpkin patches, and other holiday and special events. Eventually, we expect all employees to be trained in all areas to be able to work in every aspect of our operation. . We encourage our employees to be courteous and friendly with our customers while maintaining a professional relationship as well. Our schedule is a little fluid now because we have been open only a few months and are feeling out the right times. We are looking to incorporate several different events which might change some of our days and times as well. We are looking for people that have good flexibility to keep scheduling as easy as possible. Experience is most definitely a plus, but if you are the right fit but don't have all the experience, we can train if you are willing to learn.
