Kitchen Team Member / Barista

Daily Brew Co. is looking to hire a full-time Kitchen Team Member who can also help as a Barista when needed.

This position will primarily focus on preparing food and helping in the kitchen. Our kitchen menu is simple and easy to learn, so full cooking experience is not required. We are looking for someone who is dependable, willing to learn, works well with others, and enjoys being part of a fun, fast-paced environment.

The person hired will also be trained as a Barista and may help with drinks, customer service, and front counter duties as needed.

There is a daily kitchen bonus paid to the primary cook working that day.

Responsibilities include:

Taking customer orders and paying attention to details

Preparing hot menu items and serving prepared food

Helping prepare coffee, espresso drinks, and other beverages as needed

Receiving payments

Keeping the kitchen and work areas clean

Cleaning and maintaining equipment properly

Following health and safety standards

Keeping daily items stocked

Communicating well with other team members

Providing friendly customer service

The ideal candidate is friendly, reliable, able to work in a fast-paced setting, and willing to learn both kitchen and barista roles. Prior kitchen or coffee experience is preferred, but not required.

This is a full-time position with some flexibility needed for Wednesday and Friday later shifts, as well as Saturdays.

Pay is based on experience. Current employees have averaged an additional $5/hour in tips. Tips are included in the advertised hourly wage.
