Starting Wage: $27.63 $2.30 shift differential for 2nd Shift Shift: 2nd - 5:00 PM to 3:30 AM Monday - Thursday, Some Overtime Required Location: Faribault North Starting Wage: $27.63 Shift: Weekend - 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM Friday - Sunday, Some Overtime Required Location: Faribault North What’s in it for you: Paid Time Off and Holiday Pay Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance Plans 401K Match Funded by Daikin Tuition Reimbursement Referral Bonus Program Growth Opportunities Climate Controlled Facility Your Responsibilities: Read work orders or follows verbal instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved Move items into and out of storage, kitting area and/or production areas Follow all safety rules and instructions, maintain 5S standards of work area and performs other functions on and off production line as required Maintain necessary information and records for inventory locations on the computer and ensures appropriate paper flow with the materials/goods throughout the process Perform cycle counting functions. Select containers for parts or products. Pack and seal parts, coils or sections into or onto fabricated containers or skids Load materials into/onto trucks and installs strapping, bracing or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit. Complete shipping or receiving reports and records Operate picking systems, barcode scanners, PIT, power material-handling equipment and trucks to move material and finished products Take part in the training process for all new team members. Provide input regarding the performance of new team members. Participate with other team members on safety, process and quality improvement teams. Work with team members, supervisors and support areas to coordinate workflow to meet production requirements. Perform other duties as assigned Train new members on the various machines, procedures, safe work practices and any pertinent items regarding safety, quality and production Responsible for maintaining the 5s program to ensure a clean work area Follow and understand HOMESafe, Personal Choice and company safety manual requirements. Identify and rework defective work pieces to comply with quality standards. Ability to use hand tools Operate PIT (Powered Industrial Trucks), obtain PIT License All other duties as assigned Your Qualifications: The ability to lift, push, and/or pull materials, stand for majority of the shift, and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining proper PPE. The ability to use hand tools for extended periods of time. The ability to read and understand written English. High School Education/GED OR Minimum 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
