Directs the design and development of new application programs for specified projects, modifies and maintains existing applications to meet objectives, and plans and analyzes assigned projects. The role involves analyzing the supply chain, transportation, and distribution network to develop recommendations for reducing freight costs, creating material efficiencies, and improving on-time delivery. Additionally, it involves establishing, maintaining, and communicating statistical data on tracking product shipments, returns, and inventory.

Position Responsibilities
May include:
- Perform project control, developing an effective plan for controlling project scope, schedule, and cost baseline, and monitoring project execution to ensure alignment with the plan.
- Create and coordinate documentation to explain changes effectively.
- Assemble project plans and teamwork assignments, directing and monitoring work efforts of the project team.
- Provide feedback on the performance of internal resources to their respective managers and/or directors, and on external resources to the appropriate leadership.
- Interact with the business (users) to understand needs and anticipate technological solutions to enhance business processes.
- Extract data and generate reports to assist in performance tracking and decision-making.
- Analyze logistics operations and build decision support systems.
- Conduct research to respond to customer requests.
- Provide suggestions and implement plans to improve business processes.
- Identify value-creation opportunities for the company.
- Develop and implement solutions, ranging from simple solutions using existing technology to complex solutions using technologies such as RFID, self-configuring wireless meshes, and sophisticated optimization algorithms.
- Perform additional projects/duties to support ongoing business needs.
- Ensures work aligns with the Director’s expectations, goals, and vision.
- Accountable for implementing policies, processes, and procedures for short-term results.
- Decisions and problem-solving are guided by policies, procedures, and business plans; receives guidance from Senior Manager/Director.

- Experience or specialization within supply chain/operations research preferred but not required.
