The Sales Engineer will aggressively grow the Control Product lines for the defined geography. This position is responsible for fostering and promoting long-term customer relationships with building owners, controls contractors, and mechanical contractors in western Washington. The ideal candidate will be equipped to perform the Sales Engineer position with excellence, as well as have the potential and interest for further career advancement at Air Reps.

Position Responsibilities may include;
- Relationship development within the HVAC community through consulting engineers, mechanical contractors, controls contractors, and owners.
- Educate consulting engineers, contractors and other relevant partners on the value proposition for each product line through coordinated support of sales partners.
- Coordinating with manufacturer sales representatives to ensure goals and objectives are considered, defined, and met.
- Generate proposals and quotes that are detailed, complete, and meet the project requirements.
- Provide technical support for all product lines to all customers.
- Participate in additional projects/activities including jobsite inspections.
- Applies practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience.
- Encouraged to seek continuous improvements.
- Performs a range of mainly straightforward assignments.
- Works independently with general supervision.
- Problems faced are difficult but not typically complex.
- Able to read and comprehend construction documents including plans and specifications.
- Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC products and services, customers, decision makers, sales processes, and market trends.
- Outstanding business development, consultative selling, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to prioritize and function in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects.
- Ability to work effectively with peers, subordinates, and superiors across complex organizations.

- 3 years of HVAC DDC experience sales experience in DDC Controls or HVAC trades.
- Associate degree in related HVAC trades, BS in engineering or business.

Salary : $75,000 - $80,000
