What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Warehouse TMI position at Daikin Comfort?
The Warehouse Lead is responsible for overseeing the pulling of orders as well as unloading incoming product, inventory and organization of the warehouse. The Warehouse Lead will delegate work to warehouse employees in as well as assist them with the aforementioned tasks.

May Include
- Oversee the pulling of orders for HVAC and Hearth/Garage Door Divisions.
- Oversee the unloading of inbound product.
- Organize the warehouse to ensure a flow that provides for efficiency in pulling product.
- Cycle count inventory.
- Take communication from Schedulers regarding stock checks, changes to orders and the transfer of product from location to location.
- Participate in additional projects/activities to support ongoing business needs
- Establishes the vision, mission, values and long-term strategies for a division/department
- Provides guidance and leadership to implement transformational change that has broad impact on the achievement of results for the entire organization
- Expected to interact with all levels of the organization especially with top management
- Ensures appropriate talent selection, organization and leadership areas of the organization
- Possess knowledge to capably lead multiple teams of directors
- Has ownership of budget development and monitoring of expenses.
- Basic knowledge of computers – ability to send and receive e-mail.
- Use of step ladders, fork lifts, pallet jacks, rolling stairs and other apparatus to reach elevated shelves.
- Work with materials and merchandise including metal venting, sheet metal, as well as HVAC products.
- 3 years of warehouse experience or related field
- Forklift experience, strongly preferred
- Customer Service experience, preferred
- Some box truck driving may be needed now or in the future; good driving record, preferred
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
- Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations.
