The Garage Door Installer is responsible for the safe and professional installation, troubleshooting, and servicing of hearth products for Williams dealers and residential customers. This role requires mechanical aptitude, physical agility, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. Installers work closely with internal staff and external clients to ensure timely and accurate completion of installations in accordance with company standards and safety regulations.

Position Summary
- Installation & troubleshooting of garage doors
- Courteous and effective communication, verbal and text/email, with external customers and internal Williams staff
- Consistent completion of jobs/tasks in accordance with manager and/or trainer instruction regarding installation and operations processes and procedures
- Confirm installation requirements by reading and understanding manuals, codes and other related materials
- Utilization of electronic scheduling system using a smart phone or tablet
- Other jobs and responsibilities as may be assigned by Installation Services Manager; GM of Garage Door Products or other senior level management.
- Follow standard operating procedures, established work processes and Company policies
- Perform additional tasks as required
- Works within well-defined instructions
- Uses established procedures and works under supervision to perform assigned tasks
- Work is closely supervised
- Proficient in the use of hand tools, battery-powered tools, and AC-powered tools
- Experience with Garage Door Installation
